A
As a former travel magazine and research editor, my initial foundational focus was grammar for concise communication of thoughts and ideas in addition to general, smooth consistency of information. Clear communication was instilled especially during my years in emergency medicine, where time and details matter greatly.
Over the years I have found that I find language nuances extremely fascinating applied to fiction, with a specialty in historical romance novels. I have also found an ever-increasing passion for attention to period language and each individual, beautiful author voice across short stories, novels, and most fiction genres.
While editing tools may often be red ink, I prefer to think of my own toolkit as full of means to brighten the amazing picture that’s your story; and to ensure the frame I build for you will enhance it, making sure the creation isn’t just structurally sound, but also a pleasing and immersing experience flow for the reader.
